You choose the month, we send the invoice, you contribute to a lifetime of miracles such as the following:

“One of our young riders, who has only recently joined the program, was put into foster care after being found living under a bridge with her biological mother. She was extremely malnourished, and scared of people. She did not trust anyone. When she started riding at Amado, she was terrified of the horses and did not speak. Even though she is six years old, she looks like a four-year-old due to the abusive life she has lived.

Over the past few months coming for weekly sessions at Amado, her confidence level has improved with leaps and bounds. This place, our place, has become her sanctuary. We see her having long conversations with the horses.

 Her confidence has grown so much that we have made her the leader of her group. The saying ‘dynamite comes in small packages’ certainly applies to this young lady. She has even started riding Rain, our Appaloosa horse who normally only works with the teenagers.”
